For jump racing fans Cheltenham cannot come round fast enough every year so 2018 is to be no exception. The stars from all over descend on Prestbury Park as connections gather their best horses to contest for record prize money that as of 2018 will stand at £4,590,000 over the four days. This means there is over £1 million up for grabs each day.

The main attraction on day one of the festival is the Champion hurdle as Buveur D’Air looks to defend his title. His main challenge at the start of the season looked to be Faugheen following his stunning comeback run. However he failed to fire and now has several questions to answer. As of yet no issues have come to attention so Faugheen will still be heading to Cheltenham as he looks to regain his crown from 2015. If back to his best this is likely to be one of the most anticipated match ups of recent times as Buveur D’Air continues to impress with the ease he has been beating top horses.

The latest Cheltenham 2018 Betfair odds for the race have Buveur D’Air as the 8/13 favourite with Faugheen as the 11/4 second favourite. Check out the infographic below to find out the key facts and horses in the main races come March.
